I can't wait until Wednesday for this one

Chris pretty much co-exists with his little brother (6 mos next Monday).  Occasionally he'll give him a kiss and will only greet him if we push him to.  The baby on the other hand is FASCINATED with Chris.  He stares at him in awe like he's the best thing ever.

Well I had the baby on the couch and Chris was playing on the floor.  The baby got very excited and was trying to get Chris's attention.  He's been making sounds and he was trying so hard he finally got a "bluh" sound out, pretty loud.  It was directed at Chris.  Up until that moment, Chris was oblivious, but when the baby made that sound, he looked up, looked at the baby, cocked his head to the side and got up.  Walked over to the couch and was just looking at the baby.  Needless to say baby was very happy and excited.  Chris stuck his hand out on the couch and the baby touched his hand.  Christopher kind of held his fingers and then rubbed them against the back of his hand - like he does with his stuffed elephant.  He then said "Hi Lucas".  Then he went back to what he was doing.

It lasted only a few moments but I was in tears.  It's the 2nd time he's held his brother's hand but there was something sweet almost in how he was looking at the baby this time.  :-)

Yay!
