I have been slowly buying used CDs from Craigslist since end of August. Just made my final purchase today and I think I'm all set for NB stage! Do you mind double-checking my stash to make sure I'm not missing anything?
Have
11 orange-edged GMD prefolds (newborn size) + 5 unbleached newborn prefolds + 18 bleached newborn Osocozy prefolds
1 3-pack snappi
2 newborn fitteds
8 newborn covers (4 Imse Vimse, 2 Diaperaps, 1 Weehuggers, 1 Swaddlebees)
4 newborn AIOs (TinyTots and BG newborn)
2 medium wetbags, 1 large wetbags, 2 diaper pail liners
I spent exactly $200 for all the above... Hope I can resell some of it when I'm done with NB stage.
Still need:
Cloth wipes (MIL is sewing them).
Diaper cream

Re: I think my NB stash is ready!
That looks pretty good to me.
The only thing you don't have listed that I would get is detergent--and you might have that and just not mentioned it.
Warning Longer post
Looks great to me, except I don't see any cloth diaper safe rash cream or detergent. I really like Grandma El's and CJ's butter. On the CJ's site you can order a sample pack and pick 8 small containers with the different scents that you choose. it is awesome. There is quite a bit of cream in each small container and it is excellent for diaper bags and as a cuticle cream for yourself.
Since my daughter is sleeping through the night for 12 hours, I use Grandma el's before bed as a preventative, and CJ's during the day if she gets a little red. Works like a charm.
As for Detergent, you can buy Charlies Soap on Amazon in 4 gallon buckets for around $100. We use it for all our laundry and one container lasted us approximatly 1 year 5 months. You can also buy Tiny Bubbles from Costco.com; six boxes for $60 bucks Tiny Bubbles is great for harder water. And many women from this board recommend Tide Ultra, but I'd feel kinda funny using that on a tender newborn's skin.
Kellyscloset.com has a wide selection of detergent and does sell samples of tiny bubbles if you wanted to try out a few loads before buying an entire box. Oh, also Bum Genius detergent is simply Country Save rebranded for BG, so save your money and buy that at your local whole foods/organic food store. Rockin' Green has gotten quite a few bad reviews so I would stay away from that one.
Sorry this is so long, I just kept rambling.
