Need Ideas!

So I know there are TONS of gender reveal party posts on here, but my situation is a little different. We've been team green and were going to stay team green until I started to change my mind these past couple of weeks with my ultrasound being in a week. With that being said, our families have no idea that we are even thinking about finding out the sex of the baby. This is where my dilemma comes in. How do you surprise family members with finding out the sex as well as the sex if you were going team green the whole time?!

You could always surprise the grandparents with little outfits saying something about grandma or grandpa in the appropriate style of either a girl or boy. I'm so bad at these kinds of things so thats about all I have as a suggestion.

You could always go the cake route and give the envelope to someone who wouldn't be at your reveal.  Invite your family over for dinner or meet somewhere and offer to bring dessert!  Not the most orginial I know, but a great way to all find out together and everything is better with cake!

DH couldn't go to my ultrasound with me so I bought a blue hat wrapped it up and gave it to him as a gift. We then wrapped it back up and went to his parents house (they did not know we were finding out the sex that day) and gave the same gift to them. They were very excited and if I could do it over I would do this again.

A friend of mine was team green until her nurse accidently told her she was having a girl. Initially my friend was really angry, but she and her DH found out a few weeks before the baby shower and told everyone then. Her DH bought a babys cheerleading outfit and wrapped it up, it was the last present my friend opened at her shower. It was really memorable and suprising. Everyone loved it since we didn't know they found out.
