Goopy eye

My 2 month old little guy's left eye has been very goopy lately with eye boogs. Only the one eye. It isn't red or anything. Reason for concern? It doesn't seem like it is bothering him...

    My son's eye has been like that pretty much since birth. The pedi said it's a clogged tear duct but it's really common and no reason to worry unless it seems to be bothering your LO.

    Probably just a clogged tear duct. DD had one too. Her eye was constantly leaking. It only lasted a couple months though and went away on it's own. We "massaged" her eye and would wipe away the boogers with a warm wash cloth several times a day. 

    It only becomes a problem when baby is older, like a year+ and then it might require a surgery but that is uncommon.

    clogged tear duct.  our little guy got it at two weeks and it just stopped last week at some point. My wife ould massage the duct from the nose bridge out with a warm, wet cloth every night, and that probably spurred the quick heal for this.
