Finding a OB/GYN

I am in the market for a new doctor. My husband and I have been talking a lot about getting pregnant, and I just want to make sure that we can find a physician we like. We live in Lakewood, but I work at St. John West Shore Hosp, so I have to use a physician there... so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Re: Finding a OB/GYN

  • I go to Westshore Women's Health on St. John's Campus there are about4-5 MD's and 2 nurse midwives. I just started going to them in September because I too had to find a new OB. I am too a RN, I talked to my friend who is a women's pharmceutical rep and she loves their office, she says they are good because she is always waiting atleast 20 minutes to talk to one of the docs there which tells her they put patients first and free lunches second.

  • I have heard good things about Dr Hill.  Her office is right in front of St John WestShore (not sure of the name of the practice).  Good luck.

  • I use to work at SJWS. Does Dr. Beth Leone still work there? She was amazing!!!

  • Dr. Kristen Ekman is great. I had originally wanted a midwife, but my PCP's office recommended her, and she is whip smart and very reliable. She is in Lakewood, and admits at Lakewood and Fairview.
  • I'm so happy I found this post. I was debating going back to my old OB in Lorain, but I live near Westlake now and am scheduled to see Dr Falconi @ SJWS :)

SOOO Happy I found this post :)
