To get him to sleep I put his head on my shoulder and he buries his face in my neck and he's out.

Sit her in my lap, left hand on her chest, right hand patting her back. She instantly slumps over and is out cold.

I pat her butt. Like if i was burping her, but on her butt. I don't know why i started, It calms her down if she's crying, puts her to sleep if shes tired. However i am holding her if i pat her butt she's done.

To get DD to calm down when she's upset and nothing seems to help, we turn the faucet on and it calmer her down. We have literally stood in front of the sink for up to 20 minutes running the water on full blast, lol. Hate to see our water bill.

Every time I ask "whooooo's my big boy?" I get a huge smile and laugh.

I sing "Baby Mine" to my little girl and she instantly stops crying. Sometimes she'll start crying again after I finish it, but it always gets her to stop intially.

If LO is starving and is crying because of it, if i stick my finger across his mouth he'll suck on it if a pacifier isn't. Handy.

I sing the squishy cheeks song. She instantly stops crying when I do that!

I put on 'Some Nights' by F.U.N. and sing to her and dance with her. Or I bounce up and down on the yoga ball holding her.

To calm DD down during the day, I take her into the sunlight and jiggle her a bit to a "shh" pattern.

For some reason when I sing the gospel "power in the blood", he's out in minutes. Lol.

She's usually in full witching hour mode when I get home. Nothing will soothe her. Bottle, pacifier, swing, nothing. The minute I stick my boob in her mouth, all is right with the world and the rest of the night is smooth.

She loves loves music especially when she is getting her diaper changed.  I don't think she has had more than ten diapers changed without me or Ben singing something to her.   The moment we start she just laughs and smiles which is hysterical especially she is laughing and trying to cry at the same time.
