I have a Boba 3G and we have used it from birth with no issues. I have a Moby from dd and I haven't even gotten it out this time around. I much prefer my Boba.

Honestly, I don't love the Boba for a newborn - I don't think their infant adjustments work as well as some other buckles. But doable...yes. I would try it on if you can first - not all buckles fit all folks comfortably. I also don't like that the Boba straps don't cross in a front carry - but that's more a personal preference thing
Oh and the older versions of the Boba are not designed for newborn use - just to keep in mind if you buy used or find one on clearance.
This. My Boba starts at 15 lbs. And I tried LO in it just as she got to 15 lbs. No matter how I adjusted it I couldn't get it on by myself. (I was unable to snap the chest strap closed behind my back.) I thought about selling it.
Thankfully, I never got around to it. And I tried again when LO was between 18 and 19 lbs. And now I love it! I used it practically daily. I now have no trouble with the clip. And it doesn't hurt my back.
