Ok so, I had a csection with DS because his head was too big which caused my cervix to swell around his head and made me stop dilating.
I had a HORRIBLE recovery. I mean, in and out of the hospital at least 5 or 6 times over the first 18 months after I had him. I'm DREADING having to have a RCS.
When I got pregnant again, my midwives didn't even want to discuss a VBAC. I said I really wanted to at least try and they shot me down. The only thing she said to me was, "You had one already so that's the route we're going to take". Ummm, why?! She never said if it was just the way they did things, if it was the policy of the hospital, nothing. I was so upset that she said no that I didn't ask. I ended up miscarrying so I didn't need the RCS.
We're currently TTC and I've already decided that I won't be going back to them of I get KU. I know the only way to find out if a doctor will do a VBAC is to basically have a consult with them so they can review my history. Right?
So my question is. What's the fastest way to find a Dr and Hospital that will allow VBACs? I've been told different things by different people about how more and more Drs and hospitals aren't allowing them. Do I just have to call every hospital around and ask? I just don't know.
Sorry this is so long!!
TIA!!

Re: How do I find out? kinda long
I asked for recs on my local bump board and that's how I found my OB/hospital that is supportive of VBAC.
Good Luck!
