How Much Formula for a Two Week Old?

Our pediatrician told us last week to give LO 50 mL every three hours. This week, she told us we could up it a little bit. I've been giving her 2 oz. every three hours, but she still seems hungry. I've read that she is probably having a growth spurt right now and they normally eat more during this time.

Just wondering how much others are eating at this age. We have another doctor's appointment on Monday, so I'm going to ask then. But I didn't want to overfeed her in the meantime.

My son is 2 1/2 weeks and he's eating 2-3 oz every 2-3 hrs.  My dr said to make more than he usually eats so we would know if he needed/wanted more.  Since he usually only eats 2- 2 1/2 oz we make 3 which sometimes he does take it all.

My guy eats breast milk, but he is eating 4 oz every 2-3 hours at 10 days old.  He had trouble latching and lost 10% of his birth weight, so I think he's making up for that.  We pump and bottle feed since he never got the latch.

My LO will be 2 weeks tomorrow and she eats anywhere from 2-3 0z. every 3 hrs. Sometimes she eats more some times only 2 oz. My pediatrician said shes doing good

At 2 weeks, DS was eating about 3 oz every 3 hours. I think you just have to go by what your LO wants. They'll refuse the bottle if they aren't hungry.

My LO eats 2 oz every 1.52hrs. I cannot get her to go 3hrs.
ETA: she gets half breast mIlk and half formula.

Same here. He eats a little less at night, but during the day he chugs down 4 oz. no problem. When he's done eating or not hungry, he presses his lips together really tight, so we really couldn't overfeed even if we tried!

By 2 weeks, DD was eating 3-4 at a time!

Around 2 weeks our LO was eating 2-3 oz 2-3 hours. Her pediatrician said then and still says if she is hungry, feed her. Sometimes its unbelievelable how often she eats.Especially when she went through a growth spurt. Her growth spurt started around 2 1/2 weeks. I read they usually last a few days but I swear hers lasted for a week or more.
