Colostrum at 6 weeks?

My breasts felt very heavy and kind of painful earlier, so I did what I did last time around and pressed on them like I would do if I were expressing breastmilk. I did this and colostrum starts leaking out. I am only 6 weeks along, has anyone else leaked this early?

I haven't but if this is your second baby Or 3 so on, I think it's possible : I'm 10 weeks with my second and my boobs have grown a cup size already but I have not had any colostrum yet!

When did you wean from bf your last child?

Yes this is already happening to me...this is my 3rd pregnancy.  I weaned from bf over a year ago and my breast started leaking this time around right at 4.5 weeks.  I'd say its normal.

See, I did not get to breastfeed my son due to some medical issues, so my milk dried up very quickly. The last pregnancy ended in miscarriage and i did not have this. I don't go in for an appointment until the 17th, but I doubt this is anything bad - just curious if it was common or something.I have not carried a baby to full term in 4 years, though.

I leaked a little a week after my BFP. I don't think it really matters what pregnancy it is or whether or not you BFd before.

I started leaking very early with all pregnancies. Until you have your baby in your arms, don't mess with your breasts to get any milk/colustrum. It's totally normal.

Believe it or not, I leak a little with AF.. My doctor said it was normal. This is my third pregnancy and although I did not breastfeed my first two, I'm leaking already and have been since I got my BFP.
