We are finally putting the crib together that we've had for a couple months now. I had read online when we were deciding what crib to purchase the Graco Mason crib was pretty easy to assemble. We were so excited and almost finished when we realized we had the back headboard facing the wrong way....REALLY...this is the first step of assembling the crib. Oh well at least now we know we can do it. Honestly I couldn't help but laugh while I was taking the crib apart because we thought we were doing so well. Here's for round 2!!
Re: Crib Assembly
Oh, I can relate! We don't have much closet space so we got a wardrobe about a month ago. It had a million pieces to put together. There was an interior shelf (that screwed in - not removable) that looked symmetrical... but it turns out that the "front" was 1" shorter than the "back" of the shelf. We put the shelf in backwards and the doors wouldn't close when we finished! Thankfully that was something like step 9 of 15, so we didn't have to start over (though we did have to remove about 40 screws holding the back of the piece on).
They should make those instructions clearer. Glad that you got the crib taken care of, though, and that you got a laugh out of it. It's always nice to cross one more thing off of the to do list!
