Anything to encourage contractions to continue?

I've been slowly having stronger contractions today and would LOVE to encourage them to continue to get closer. Anything that actually works?

We are 40 weeks on Monday so no worries on going "early".

Thank you :-} Feeling slightly looney although not sure why. I've never really been a patient person and with something as amazing as the birth of my son it really shouldn't surprise me that I'm so excited to meet him :-}

Te only advice I can think of is to just walk around as much as possible, up stairs etc. That's what they have you do in the hospital to see if you're going to dilate more or get sent home when you're on the edge of being admitted- walk around the floors. Walk, walk, walk

nipple stimulation is what the dr. told me to do, stimulate for 2 min and then rest for 5 and repeat.
