Adoption

worried

Has anyone had any experiences with bm changing her mind? we were contacted after the baby was born and these days of calling planning steps forward steps backwards etc etc... I just need to know reality whether good or bad.
After three miscarriages and one ectopic pregnancy we are currently pursuing adoption. " Born not from our flesh, but born in our heart. You were longed for and wanted and loved from the start."

Re: worried

  • Maybe it's just me, but I think you would have to explain the situation more for me to weigh in. I don't think I understand much from your original post.

I haven't had any experience with a emom changing her mind, but I know others on the board have.

  • Agree w/PP,,, more details needed.

I think it's okay and healthy for a birth mom to grieve having to sign TPR and perhaps want to visit baby in NICU... is there something more going on?
