I have a big boy (17 lbs 26") I love using the front carrier because it makes chasing after a 2 year old so much easier, but he's definitely starting to outgrow mine. Are there any for older/ bigger babies? I'm also pretty petite if that matters

Re: anyone still use a front carrier?

I don't know what you're using, but DH and I both still wear our 1 year old, and he's 22lbs. We have an Ergo, Pikkolo, and Babyhawk we still wear.
What type of carrier are you using?
DS is about 20 lbs. I wear him in a Boba 3G or a ring sling. They both work great. You can do either front or back carry with both. It depends what I 'm doing as to which carry I use. The boba is still really comfortable in any carry though.
This, LOVE my Ergo!
I use a ring sling still and love it.
I know multiple people who have continued using carriers through toddlerhood - I've heard a lot of recommendations for Mei Tei's.
