pacifiers NB vs 3+ months

What is the difference?

I noticed when I was in BRU that some of the pacifiers I've been using are labeled 3+ months. How are these different than the NB ones?

I held the packages up next to each other, they are the same size both in the nipple width/length and the size of the part that stays outside the baby's mouth.  Is the material different or something? Is there any reason to not use the 3+ month ones right now?

I'm not 100% sure the difference, but we got both so we use the NB ones now and he seems to take to them fine. They fall out constantly because he knocks them out or falls asleep and forgets...but he lacks that coordination. I guess we will use the 3 months later, or when we loose the NB ones...they are already hard to keep up with. :-)
