I'm curious to see if there is a difference. This board is obvioulsy proVBAC, and it seems like most on the c/s board are proRCS. I'm wondering if that has to so with the type of c/s experience a women had the first time. So I'm also posting this on the c/s board to see what it looks like. [Poll]

Agreed. My c/s itself was ok, even though it was unplanned. It was the recovery that made me realize I wanted to avoid an RCS at all costs.

PgAL/PAL Welcome
Thought baby was head down when labor started, then I felt something crazy in my belly, then the baby was breech (I think he flipped)...
So I had a c-section after 7 hours of drugless labor...
I chose after labor but not an emergency. When they called the section, we were heading that route but I wanted to do it before it became life and death. It was the right choice as DS was malpositioned, over 10 lbs, and crushing his own cord.
That had nothing to do with me choosing a VBAC. I wanted to VBAC because the recovery for a c/s is too long for me and elective surgery (or any surgery) is dangerous.
Also, I wanted to note- while I am Pro-VBAC, I am certainly NOT anti-c-section.
