Hi All,
As you may remember, last Monday I had my first u/s (many of us did - with fabulous results!). While the u/s looked great (yoke sac, 5w3d) I got news later in the day that my Beta wasn't as high as they would like and hadn't doubled appropriately.
It has been a tough 1 1/2 weeks - waiting to see what would happen. I was mentally preparing for the worst and hoping for the best, and unfortunately the worst came yesterday when I began to miscarry.
I just wanted to say good bye and good luck - and many thanks to you for your support when I got the news last week. I got to know many of you from TTC>35 and I am so excited so many of you are here and doing well. What I have learned is that the journey is tough. Many of you have gone through heartbreaks greater than mine - both in your TTC journeys and losses. While it doesn't seem possible now, I know that I will get through this and will come out okay. While this is terrible - after nearly 10 months of trying - even getting pregnant is such a relief and gives me hope for the future.
Anyway - I will miss you all but couldn't be happier for you! Good luck and H&H 9 months!
Re: Update and Good Bye for now
Lenox I am so so sorry to hear about this. I know how disappointing a loss can be-- especially after having had such high hopes. Your timeline is almost exactly the same as mine, so hopefully you'll be back here in 3 months!
In the meantime, definitely take care of yourself, take time to grieve your loss, and I hope to see you really soon back here! ((hugs))

do not give up. i was 37 when we conceived the first time and miscarried a little later than you did. it brings tears to my eyes just reading and rereading what you've written. those emotions you're having right now are so strong, but you will get through this.
after the miscarriage we waited two months to start trying again and after three months of trying we conceived again and this baby girl is now 24 weeks. you can do this too. you'll be back here again soon.
these next few (or many, let's be honest) days will be the roughest, but just keep going. i'm sure everyone here is sending lots of positive thoughts in your direction. good luck.

Thanks Daniele - while it seems like a long wait now, I remember the time between your loss and current BFP went quick - I'm sure it didn't feel that way for you but I hope I can heal and get past this quickly. Thank you and best of luck to you!

I am so, so sorry!
Take care of yourself and hope to see you back very soon!
Good Luck!
I'm so sorry.
I know things look bleak now, but you will get through this, and you will be back on this board again.
I miscarried my first pregnancy, which had taken me over a year to achieve. I thought I would never have children. But about 3 months after that I got pregnant with my DD who is now almost 2. So I know how you feel. Take some time to grieve and take care of yourself, and let your body recover. Then jump back in the saddle when you feel ready (and when your doc OK's it).
I look forward to seeing you here again soon!
