How long did it take for you to get your CA state disability?

I've been out of work since 9/8/12 and my OB's office mailed out the forms two weeks ago but when I call the toll-free number they do not even have a new claim with my social. Just wondering how long everyone waited before they received their first payment. tia!

I've been off work since the 14th and just recieved paperwork confirming they started the process. I have not rcvd a check yet. Good luck!

It took 3 weeks to receive my first payment.

Iv been out of work for 4 weeks and still haven't received anything. I try calling and can never get threw. The recording says it doesn't have anything for my ssn so I'm taking a trip to the office tomorrow to see if they even got my papers.

LO was born 8/25, I got paperwork to my OB's office 2 weeks later, they sat on it for a week, then it took 2 weeks to process. I received my debit card on Monday with 24 days of pay on it. Good thing our savings account could handle it, lol.
