Last Week's Updates:  Cara03 has made it to her first milestone (officially the most pregnant!!). She has also started to feel the baby move. Kaydra has updated her siggy with a new picture of the boys, and she also got to do KC with DS#2. How's DS#2 doing? I'm not sure if we have missed any updates. Congratulations to MeNV, DS#2 was born at 34 weeks. Also, Wally3 is being induced today, so please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Ds2 is a little rock star. We moved to CCN from NICU day before yesterday. He got into an open basinette the same day. We started non nutritive BFing also the same day. This morning, I gues he bottle fed 20 cc for the nurse, which is half a feeding. He ate 5cc for me and promptly spit it up. But he's trying. Hes more than his birth weight now too. I continue to be thrilled and so thankful for how he's doing.

Now, if only I could get the excruciating pain in my nipples when I'm pumping to stop...

I'm still doing well. I feel so much relief just being past the gestational dates of DS1 being born and knowing my cervix still looks good. My current hurdle: figuring out what to do for progesterone. I was getting 17p shots weekly but the compounding pharmacy has been shut down and patients are being told not to use any products from them due to one of their products producing a meningitis outbreak. My OB's office is trying to get Makena and/or have me on vaginal suppositories. Not sure how all of this will work out... I have a more detailed most on High-Risk if anyone is curious or has info about this.

Kaydra - your DS is such a superstar. Sounds like he is doing great! Hope your nipples start cooperating more.

Update: I've been meeting with my counselor, and she believes my subconscious is ready to TTC, though my conscious is trying to talk myself out of it.  So I think we'll try for another, just need to get the balls moving (sorry, bad pun).  Hoping for a healthy term PG.

I failed to come up with anything this week! But if anyone else has any suggestions please let me know. Actually I almost forgot to post this update. 

Actually if any of other mommy-to-be want to take off that be great. Not that I don't love posting it, I do, but with two little ones, I hardly have time get online.

As of tomorrow I'll be 36 weeks, which is two weeks longer than I was able to keep DS #1 in. Today I've been having a lot of contractions though nothing regular and at my appointment last week she said I was dilated to a 2 and 50% effaced. We all know that I can hang out there for weeks though! So, I'm hoping little guy will stay put for one more week and he will at least be considered term!

I'm just starting on the 17p, but I'm ordering it from a compounding pharmacy a few states away.  My ob said I could google one close, but he gave me the # of the one they order from.  When I called today and asked about getting in time for next week, the woman said that I would definitely have it by then, so I'm guessing they ship fast.

Everyone seems like they're doing great which us fabulous.

Ds2 took a full feed from the bottle today. And since I only pumped 10cc from the breast he fed on, he also took a full feed tonight. Now we work on gaining weight.

Thrush sucks. Ds2's face is stained purple. As are my nips, bras, and a few other things. And sterilizing everything all the time is annoying. But they feel better! I'm optimistic for the first time in like 10 days.

Hi, all - I am 17w1d with surprise baby #2, and we found out a week ago we're having another boy! I had wanted a girl, but now I'm kind of excited about the idea of brothers so close in age growing up together!

My BP has been up the entire pregnancy... it never had a chance to go back to normal after I had Jack. So, I'm now on 500mg methydopa 3x/day. Blech. Praying my BP stays down because I'm terrified of having another 29-weeker or earlier. Really wish I could enjoy this pregnancy, but needless to say, it's fraught with worry.... *sigh*

Sorry I have not checked in for a few weeks! Thanks for keeping the check-in going. I passed my 1 hr GTT and also passed a milestone from my first pregnancy, which is that by this point last time, I was already having swelling problems. So far, I've only had a few random days of foot/ankle swelling, but nothing like last time. Mentally, that was a big hurdle to get past that point.

Passing the 1hr GTT is big! Good for you! Did you have any issues with the drink? I passed both times, but I almost passed out after they took the blood w/DD2.

I go back next week for 3rd beta ..routine..and if all is good then they will schedule ultrasound. If ultrasound looks good I think my RE will transfer us to our OB :
