Anyone end up pregnant after an HSG?

I have heard about women becoming pregnant after having an HSG done because it "flushes" out your tubes. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this? I had one done 2 days ago and everything looks good! I am feeling optimistic :)

    I had mine on May 5th, june and july were clomid cycles and LMP was 7/25. We are due 1 year to the date of my HSG!

    I got pregnant the month I had my HSG.   I think every women should get one if they are struggling to get pregnant.

    I had my HSG aug 7.  Got my positive 9/24. When it was done I was ovulating but was rough to have sex since I was sore. But I'm shocked I got preg next cycle . So it's possible.

    I had one in May and got a + test Sept 7th. I was told the same thing. Women get pregnant the first cycle after an HSG but that might not be the case with everyone.

    Tried for 3 years, had HSG done and got pregnant naturally in 2 months. Wasn't even trying!

    I had mine on June 25 and got my BFP on October 1. Mine showed both tubes blocked though, so I do think that the HSG helped clear stuff out.

    TTC#2 October 2011. June 2012 diagnosed with mild PCOS and both tubes blocked.
    10/1/12 miracle BFP 11/12/12 missed m/c (9w2d), baby stopped growing at 7 weeks

    Yes I had my HSG in August. I became pregnant after, and found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks. I am now about 8 weeks pregnant! I did have about 6 rounds of chlomid before that. I actually  had put off the HSG for several months. I am glad I did it. Even though I now have a $658.00 bill it was worth it!

    I had an HSG in May and got pregnant in August. I don't know if the HSG has anything to do with it. However I ovulated on the left side, which was partially blocked on the HSG. 

    The only way an HSG would help someone is if there was a blockage problem with the fallopian tubes. It does not help getting pregnant if ovulation, LPD or other reasons are the problem.

    I got pregnant the same cycle as my HSG!  Not sure if it helped... But it certainly didn't hurt!

    I agree. I knew I was ovulatingby a blood test but I wasn't getting preg. The doctor didn't say I was blocked but I'm assuming I must have been bc I got preg right away.

    My husband and I weren't on any meds, but had all the necessary fertility testing because it had been over a year of trying. We used the Clearblue Easy monitor to determine ovulation, but it wasn't until the cycle I had my HSG that I got pregnant . I even tested positive a week before my period was due! I would recommend getting an HSG before you let any doctor put you on Clomid. My girlfriend is on her third cycle of Clomid and her OB didn't do any prior fertility testing. HSG, blood work, and semen analysis should be the first thing done by your OB and Reproductive Endocrinologist.

    I got pregnant 3 days after my HSG at age 39. This was after not ovulating for at least 3 mos.

    I got pg the cycle after HSG. I was super surprised to get pg naturally because we were about to start femera with iui AND DH had poor morphology. Miracles happen!
    Started TTC August 2012. BFP 10/17/12...natural MC on 10/23/12, Missing our little bean every day!  11/13-started seeking help at fertility clinic. Me: 29 (ovulation/menstrual irregularities, HSG clear), DH: 31 (1% morphology, rest is normal) 
     SHOCKING BFP during cycle prior to IUI #1 on 1-26-14. Beta 1: 39.1, Beta 2: 100, Beta 3: 234.5!!! keep growing little one! EDD 10/7/14BabyFruit Ticker Image and video hosting by TinyPic

    After TTC on our own for several years (I think 3 or 4 at that point), I had an HSG in December  2011 and then BFPs from IUI/Clomid in March and July 2012 (m/c's). I can't say it was for certain the HSG that did it since I was also on clomid and we used IUI, but it more than likely helped.

    I got pregnant within two months of my HSG, but I don't think it "flushes" anything out as you say. Your tubes are either clear already or not. I don't attribute my pregnancy to having an HSG.

    I had an HSG in November, as well as having my tubes cleared out and endometrosis removed. We started trying in January and now I'm pregnant! Praying for a baby that's stinking to the right spot, and for a healthy (and comfortable) pregnancy.
