This is a double post:
My husband and I both work and for two years my daughter has been at Grandparent Day Care. I'm so lucky to have my parents watch her every day, and they (usually) love it. I decided to start her at a play group two mornings a week from 9:30-11:30 because she seemed to love kids and want to play with them more. My mom was 100% on board for taking her and picking her up. The first couple of days I took off from work so I could do it and make sure she was OK, and she was. No crying or anything. But last week she started crying. My mom couldn't get her out of the door one day so she didn't go. I talked to the school and they said she could go down to one day a week, so we decided to try that. Today was horrible. My mom managed to get her there, but she was screaming and shaking and just hysterical when my mom dropped her off.
If I were dropping her off, I might stick it out to see if she adjusted, but I know this really upsets my mom, and I feel like she just should not have to deal with this as a grandparent. So, I'm thinking of pulling my daughter out and waiting until she is three.

Re: LO hates play group
The teachers there believe in just leaving right away and not lingering, but we could try it if I talked to them.
