Code BC: Good idea or too over-the-top? (CP)

I was thinking about having a cookie "bar" at the dessert table for L's party. Maybe 4 or 5 different kinds, some homemade, maybe some store bought.. I'm not sure yet.

We are having cupcakes for everyone and a smash cake for L, but as far as desserts, that's all we'd have (unless of course we have the cookie bar)

So my question is, do you think it's a good idea?

As long as it won't be too much trouble for you then I say go for it. You can't go wrong with cookies! I also love the idea of providing baggies so people can take some home as favors.

Oh that is brilliant! This might be a confession for tomorrow.. but I know my MIL wanted to help with the party.. so maybe I will let her "help" me with this haha... does that make me evil?

I see nothing wrong with making cookies in addition to cupcakes. Some people aren't cupcake people and might enjoy having a cookie instead. We are doing Gator's party from 2 to 4 and wrote on the invites to please join us for dessert. We are doing all different kinds if desserts....including things like pumpkin bread, and a few other things.
