I dropped a night time pump to get more sleep so now I am short a bottle or so at daycare which needs to be formula.  He is drinking about 6oz of formula from this bottle.  Does this sound right for a 5 month old?  My DD was formula fed but I can't remember how much she ate at this age.

DD just turned 5 mths old, and she is taking about 5-6 oz of formula at a time. So that sounds about right to me.

depending on what time of day for us, he eats from 5 oz up to 8 oz... (5 oz. is usually around 5pm (the meal before the last one before bed time)

Sounds about right in comparison to us. DS consistently eats 6 oz except for first thing in the morning...usually drink 4 oz. He does get purees once a day also.

I think that sounds pretty normal....but My kid has been sucking dry 8 oz bottles every few hours since he was 2 months old so I guess I'm not really one to judge "normal" :P

Mine both still take 6oz in their bottles.

Mine eat 5-6 usually and they have been doing this for probably about 2 months now.
