Stress vent

I feel like I am stress more often and frequently. I work full time 7a-7p and 8a-8:30 and 7a-3p. I also attend class tues and thurs for a hour or so... My Dh and I work different shifts. So hardly see him expect on Saturdays. I feel so overwhelmed, it's frustrating. Maybe I just need a break or something, how do combat stress in your life? I've always ran late for work since having lo and my goal was make to work on time, I barely made it. I feel so stress, always rushing.. Some times I feel like I'm doing everything on my own. Does anyone feel like this?

  • I go in phases of feeling like this.  Thankfully my DH helps a TON in the morning getting ready and dropping DS off.  Sometimes DH & I have to communicate more through email than in person which isn't fun.  I get a massage if I have time or pedicure.  Some suggestions for morning is set everything out the night b/4 after LO goes to bed, granted it is not something I do.  I have a co-worker who does all of her food for the week on Sunday so that helps her.  Just some suggestions.  I probably feel more like this when I am taking a class as I am going back to school also and am on quarters instead of semesters, 10 weeks on 4 weeks off.

  • I give kuddos to moms who work full time.  I work part time and feel like I am overwhelmed.  I take primary care of Caleb, DH helps out here and there, but I do drop off and pick up, prepping all his food, feeding him, on top of all the household chores.  I try to pack his dc bag the night before, as well as his lunch, so in the morning I only have to get us ready and eat, then we can be out the door.

    One nice thing is DH will take Caleb about once a month on a Saturday  so I can do whatever I want.  Its nice to run errands, get a pedicure, or even take a long relaxing bath during that time.
