Stripping Membranes (XP from Oct 12)

Did anyone have any success with having their membranes stripped?  I am 5cm and almost 100% effaced but have been like this for a week with nothing.  My doctor said she doesn't guarantee that it works but was happy to try so I went for it.  Hoping it jump starts some contractions!

I had my membranes stripped with my first and was in labor 12 hours later.  I think it's one of those things that helps if you are on the cusp of labor.  I was over 41 weeks at the time.

I hope it works for you- being 5 cm already is great!

I hope so too!  RCS is scheduled for 10-11 so I am getting anxious...
