Where To Have Bday Party

I'm planning my son's 1st birthday party everywhere I call to rent a room is booked. I could have it at a relatives house but my bf I were thinking we could have it in his new Morton building they just built, it's at the end of October so idk if it will be too cold? Lmk your thoughts :

Re: Where To Have Bday Party

  • We won't have a crowd, so we're keeping it low-key and having the party at home.

  • We ended up not being able to do a party because of DH's work but if we were able to I wanted to do it at a pumpkin patch. DS would probably be the youngest kid there so having it somewhere that could entertain his older cousins was what we were looking for. It would've been in NJ so risking the cold was a chance to take but the way I see it is we all go pumpkin picking anyways so theres really no difference. The place I chose also had apple picking, hay rides, farm animals, and other activities. You didn't mention if there are more adults than kids, are the kids older, etc? That played a big part in our decision.

  • We're having our girls birthday in an upstairs party room at a restaurant. That way we don't have to worry about food, table set up or anything. We just pay per person and I can bring my own decorations.

Same here. It will be the least amount of work and I can enjoy the party more.

  • We are using a small church fellowship hall/community center. Usually you have to be a member or know somebody who is a member of the church or live nearby, in most cases. We don't have a big house and it's free!

  • I'm not sure what a "morton building" but if you have shelter I'm sure it will be fine.  We are having DD's party at a pumpkin farm (it's at the end of the month) and they had a shelter house that could be rented for a few hours that included power for plugging in crock pots and stuff.

  • We are doing DD party at Gattis's Town pizza party.  Our place is too small and I dont want all the extra work of cleaning.  Also, its a place that can entertain the various ages of kids and adults that will be attending.
