The cleaning went pretty well. I did have to decline the Xrays which wouldn't be a big deal but my uncle is my dentist so the cats out of the bag now :. I am 12 wks but was hoping to get the NT scan done with before telling family. I have it tomorrow so I got close :

    We need details...did you need hand signals or were you good all the way through? How funny that your uncle is your dentist and this is how he found out! I hope he was excited and happy for you.

    I didnt use hand signals. I took zofran before I went so I don't know if that helped or me concentrating on the least gaggy thing I could think of which was cartoon characters! The hygienist also used the suction thingy a lot so I never had a large collection of spit. My sister in law is also a hygienist and she said she never has had a lady puke during a cleaning. I actually thought it was much better than brushing my teeth.
