We started charting the day I was released from the hospital. I was very glad that I did bc I ended up having horrible bleeding about a month later and needed a D&C. Charting helped us focus on healing my body and looking toward the future (even though it was extremely painful and difficult).
TTC since 11/2009; Lap/HSG/Hysteroscopy: 5/2011 (endometriosis - removed; endocervical polyp - removed; high pressure in bilateral tubes - cleared)
BFP #1: 8/4/11; DS1 born sleeping on 11/16/11 at 19w1d
I waited a few weeks and then started charting a week or so before they told me to expect AF. My temps. were inconsistent and other signs were off, but it felt good to be keeping track of it. I called it my "interim miscarriage chart." Then when AF came I started a new chart and called that the start of a new numbered cycle.
Married to the love of my life for 3 years
First pregnancy - blighted ovum, miscarriage at 10 weeks, Apr./May 2012 Second BFP 9/19/12 - Hoping for our Rainbow Baby!
I was told to TTA for 2 cycles following m/c, so I didn't start charting until after my first cycle. I probably would have started earlier if I was allowed to TTC earlier.

I started charting within a week or so after my d&c(s). I wanted to make sure I ovulated that cycle, and it helped me to feel "in control" of something.

Ditto.
Same here. Although I must say I'm not sure if I would do it again, as seeing that I did not ovulate that first cycle kind of freaked me out for no reason since we were TTA.
Miscarriage in January 2012 at 8 weeks
Subsequently diagnosed with low P4, LOR. MH DX low motility, varicocele
BFP in July 2012 (Gonal-f + trigger + IUI#2 (B2B) + prometrium)
Lost Baby A prior to 7 weeks; large SCH; Baby B (Bug) was born in March 2013
I started a couple weeks after. I was told to TTA for 3 cycles, but because I had never charted before, I used that time to get used to the routine of temping. Good thing I tracked though because my cycle never came and after 89+days of no AF I had to see the doctor and then was placed on meds to jumpstart my cycle.

I started charting using my mc as cd1. the first "cycle" wasn't normal, but I was glad to have a record of what was happening with my body and how long I had been bleeding, etc.

This. If you're interested, you can see my m/c chart in my siggy. It's the one directly below my BFP chart. I don't think I ovulated before my first AF, and I got AF just 4 days after I finally got a negative HPT. Personally, if you feel up to it, I would chart right away just to help you feel like you might know what's going on, if you ovulate (you might not), etc. Just be warned - temps can be crazy after a m/c as your hormones regulate, so read your chart cautiously.
BFP1: DD1 born April 2011 at 34w1d via unplanned c/s due to HELLP, DVT 1 week PP
BFP2: 3/18/12, blighted ovum, natural m/c @ 7w4d BFP3: DD2 born Feb 2013 at 38w4d via unplanned RCS due to uterine dehiscence
I had never charted in my life but after my 1st M/C, I started charting immediately.
BFP #3: 01/28/12, EDD: 09/23/12, MMC (BO), D&C 2/16/12 at 6.5 wks
BFP #4: 05/23/12, EDD: 01/31/12, Early MC at 5 wks
RPL Workup: + LPD (7DPO Prog = 7.8, Endometrial Bx = out of phase)
Elevated Alpha 2-glycoprotein IgA and antiphosphatidylserine IgM -->
Hematologist said not to worry and no need for treatment!
