Stupid Code Buttercream ? (gift related)

We are getting A an A&A dream blanket as well as some A&A security blankies.  Do you think it's lame if I open & wash them prior to giving them to A?  I will still wrap them for her to open.

Thoughts?  It's quite possible I have just entered crazy town with this question.

Eh. I could go either way on this one. I'd wash them before she used them, for sure.

On one hand, just opening them, she probably won't have too much contact with them but on the other hand, it is her first birthday - she won't notice if the gift has been pre-opened and washed and if that makes you more comfortable, go for it.

this. I bought DD some clothes and put them in a gift bag for her, then washed them after. She was over opening presents by the time she got to ours so I ended up not even opening it.

I wouldn't wash them before wrapping them. If she's opening them in front of other people it will look like you wrapped hand me downs. If no one will see I wouldn't even wrap them. At this age it can be hard to get them to want to unwrap and once they were washed and everything Id just put them away.
