Don't know what to do!

So I am 30 weeks 3 days, with identical twin boys, and on "take it easy" and pelvic rest. I'm full of energy in the mornings and I swear I could run a mile if someone would let me lol. It's been a little over a week since I was put on pelvic rest and the sexual tension between my husband and I has been making things difficult among many other things . By night I'm aching and exhausted, and don't have the energy to do any thing.
I just don't know what to do to keep us at ease.

Re: Don't know what to do!

  • Stay on pelvic rest! You can do other things together, or let him take care of himself.

Ditto. The Heath of your babies is more important than sex, IMHO

  • Here's what you do:  Don't have sex.  It's that simple.  I promise it's worth it.

  • Well, I guess you need to decide what is more important to you...having sex and ending up with premature babies struggling in a NICU or being mom to healthy full term babies.  The choice would be easy for me and I was on pelvic rest from day 1 in my pregnancy!

  • It's only been a week. You can't go a week? Or is it just the idea that you can't that makes you want to even more? You need to be prepared that you still have about 3 more months of no sex. Find ways to deal with it now before it gets out of hand.
