Monitors for two??

Ds will be 20 months and I definitely think we will still use a monitor.  We will also need one for ds on the way.  How do I work this?  We have the Sony monitor, so do I get another of the same kind?  What do you do?

We have the graco imonitor duo. It goes back and forth between the two rooms. It does not monitor both at the same time. You can have it set for a certain amount of time on each room. We have had it since our youngest was 3 months. It has been great.

After researching for ages the options were...

1) get a video monitor with two cameras (this would be fine if we had one to start, it would just mean adding a camera.

2) get two digital monitors (we had an old angel care monitor that sucked so we needed something new for DD)

3) get the grace monitor duo (we couldn't' do this as they only sell it with two parent units in Europe).

We've gone with option 2 and will get a second digital monitor closer to #2's birth.

We have the motorola. I like it and you can add up to 4 cameras. I took my avent back to buybuy baby after having it for 16 months and they actually exchanged it! No box, no receipt and I even told them how old it was. I said I wasnt happy with it! They are amazing!!
