has anyone tried for a VBAC and failed?

I'm just so nervous either way.   If you did fail, what was the reason?

I went into labor on my own 4 days overdue (going overdue was a feat on its own because I had GD and my doctor generally doesn't allow his GD patients to go past their due dates but I had everything under control).

My biggest problems were positioning and blood pressure.  She was in the same position as my first daughter and just wouldn't descend.  My blood pressure ended up dangerously high and I opted for the c/s over laboring with magnesium sulfate.

I went into it knowing it could result in an RCS and I wasn't upset about the failed VBAC.  I tried and it didn't work out.  It was more important to me (and my husband) that both me and my daughter were safe and healthy.
