Im sure my baby has allergies and she kind of sounds congested when she breathes sometimes. Like kind of wheezy. Is there anything I can do to make it so she doesnt sound like that or is she okay and I dont need to worry about it? She is 12 weeks.
It might be RSV; JFresh, I think, started a thread about it on July the other day that you could look at. I would call your doctor, though, RSV in infants Can be very serious.
My baby is congested right now too but it's just stuffiness. I bought some newborn saline drops that I'm going to give him tonight if he's still stuffy.
If your baby is wheezing though, you should call the doctor.
I would call the doctor especially if you hear wheezing. L has had 2 colds already that were coughs and runny noses. I took her to the pedi a few times because it was like the never ending cough. They checked her lungs and they were fine, we just did the humidifier, saline for the nose and bulb to remove snot. She STILL wakes up coughing every morning. She also has reflux.

for the congestion I use the little noses saline drops.....they have one that comes with the aspirator. That is the perfect size for my little one.
for the wheezing, like all have said contact the dr.
