DD is 10 months it seems half of my scar is nice and faded whe the other half is still purpley and raised although not painful. What was or is yours like at this stage? Should it have healed more evenly? TIA!!
Mine has always been uneven, but the incision was really uneven. I don't remember exactly what it looked like at 10 months, but by 12 months, one side was barely visible. The "bad" side was/is darker, but not painful or anything.
I never asked the Dr why he cut me so unevenly, but my assumption was that DS liked to hang out on one side when I was PG, and that side stretched out more, so it was harder to close up evenly? I don't know. I assume the uglier side will eventually fade, too.
I am 10 months out right now. Parts are white, parts are purplish like others said. It's senstive at times - and odd combo of painful, numb and hypersensitive, if that at all makes sense.

Mine is flat and more faded than it was before, but it's still purplish. About an inch at one end it almost all faded but still purple. I'm not really numb anymore, and only feel twinges of uncomfortableness once in a while when my jeans hit funny, or I lean against something wrong.

Re: 10 months PP what is/was your scar like?
Mine isn't exactly even either. It is darker purple for about an inch on each side, but is faded all across the middle.
It is still irritating to wear low rise jeans or when I lean against a counter that hits it, but it doesn't really hurt anymore.
