I might club him over the head with a rake.
He goes back on shift in a couple days and has decided that he has nothing to do in the house while he's helping me with the boys... Yeah, it's not like there are bathrooms to clean or floors to vacuum or laundry to do... We're all just sitting around in an empty, spotless house where there is nothing to do.
Of course as soon as I point something out he's 'too busy' or finds something else to do. He is acting like a 14 year old boy today and it's driving me nuts.
Anyone else?
Re: If my husband says he's bored one more time...
I want to punch him in the face every time he says he needs a nap.
Omg yes! When my DH says he's tired he gets a death glare from me!
This. H says this all the time. In his defense he's in school and works full time, but I let him sleep a good 7 hrs each night. DD doesn't sleep well so I get maybe 3 hrs if I'm lucky. If one more person complains that they're tired I'm going to scream.
DH also had ingrown toenails to deal with this week and he was taking vicodin for it and acting like it was the worst pain in the world. Really? Ingrown toenails? I wanted to give him something to whine about. Grr.
Thank God he didn't have to give birth! There's not enough pain medication in the world for that.
UGH YES!! Amir is a straight night owl and yet he's tired and needs a nap on his off days. I'm like I pump damn 7-8 times a day but you're tired...what eves...
Ha. We must be married to the same man. MH has bandages on his toes and was gimping around. It is a good thing they don't have to go through labor and pushing a baby out! Not to mention what our lady bits look/feel like for weeks after.
This!
I've had an ingrown toenail since 36 weeks pregnant.. It freaking hurts! But sounds like both men have not been dealing with it for 2.5 months lol. And it's nothing compared to labour!
HA!! You make me laugh, C_mo!
I can't complain; DH worked from home today and is doing the dishes as I type this and watch Oliver try to escape his swaddle from the video monitor.
This! The urge to hit him is so overwhelming. He doesn't hear the baby at night and sleeps straight through the night. If I ask him to take over at 630, he starts with the "I'm soo tired, I need a nap." ugh, hate the whining---God forbid I ask you to take over care of your child at a reasonable hour.

I KNOW. DH slept for eleven hours one night a few weeks ago and said he was just "catching up" on sleep. I felt like saying I won't get to catch up until DD is 2.
