We'd like to keep our LO in our room unti he is 5 to 6 months. He is 3 mo now. For those of you still with your baby in your room, where are they sleeping? Ours is in a RnP but he seems to not be as comfortable in it as he was so we end up putting him in our bed when he starts fussing then he goes back to sleep. I don't want to start bedsharing now though.

We just have his crib in our room. Not that he doesnt have the whole king bed to himself while I sleep by the wall some nights
I'm curious about this because our DS is almost 5 months old and wakes up often in the night without a particularly specific pattern. DD generally sleeps 7:30 to 6:30 with the very occasional 4am wake. She is rowdy toddler who loves her brother but is a bit rough with him and is quite jealous of him. We had her in her own room by 3 months old but I'm nervous to put DS in her room for fear of her climbing into his crib and accidentally hurting him. How long do you think we should wait?
Thanks for you input!
We have a king size bed, which is right next to a twin sized bed, which has the crib sidecarred to it. DH sleeps on the outside edge of the king. Our 3yo either sleeps next to DH or in the crib. Baby Bug sleeps on the twin bed. I move back and forth between the king and twin beds. The king is super comfy, but too squishy for a little baby. The twin is much safer for Baby Bug, but isn't nearly as comfortable for me.
DD (4.5months) sleeps thru the night 9:30/10:00-5:30/6:00 very well. We still swaddle at night and she sleeps next to our bed in a RnP. She is still very comfy in the RnP and will most likely not outgrow it until around 6 months. She is tiny though at only 11lbs./24" tall.
We are working on preparing her to sleep in her crib in her own room by the end of the year (7 months). So, we have started having her nap unswaddled and laying flat, and I have her spending some play time in her crib in her room, then we will move to having her nap in her crib, unswaddle at night in our room, and finally unswaddled and in her crib in her own room. Hopefully, the slow transition will work and she will continue to be a good sleeper.
Reading about all the beds in your house being squished together made me all warm and fuzzy. That sounds so cozy! It makes me think of all those old books and movies where you see the kids beds in a row
We bought a minicrib for our room.
