Tallen looks feminine, and Talon is the actual noun spelling, so that would leave Talan by elimination. I think that looks feminine with the a's too, though.
Tallen looks feminine, and Talon is the actual noun spelling which just makes me unable to get past the bird of prey association, so that leaves Talan by elimination. That looks feminine to me with the a's, though.
I really don't like Talon as a name at all. It is the killing mechanism on a bird's foot.... I guess if you want to name your kid after a bird part you should spell it Talon, the correct way.
I would say Talon like the noun and because I like the name Fallon (sounds the same obviously). But if I were to use it for a name I think I'd want it different than the noun. So I voted Talan.
I'm 99% sure you already realize this, but a "talon" is a claw, especially that of a bird.
I know that "talon" is the proper spelling of the word, but I voted for "Tallen" like "Allen." I just could not name my kid "bird claw." Maybe, just maybe as a middle name, but not as a first name.
I LOVE this name!! I work in the natural sciences and I think having a child named Talon would be different! We already have our boy/girl names, but if we see two beans in there, this is on my list!!

This...sorry. nms...I prefer none but Talon by default

FWIW, I don't think "Tallen" is too feminine.
