How do you prepare chicken or other meat for your LO?
Previously I have pured and mixed with other veggies etc but he didn't really care for it. He does like the baby food jar meat stuff which I think is gross...
I am trying shredded chicken today, hopefully he will like it
Yeah the jarred meats have always grossed me out too, Maya just eats whatever meats we are having for dinner. I just cut things up into bite sized pieces. She also eats low sodium deli cut lunch meats, turkey and ham, she loves hot ham and cheese! I've been making a ton of slow cooker stuff, pulled pork, beef stew, chicken and dumplings, chicken noodle soup and the slow cooker makes the meats super tender so I just pull it apart with my fingers before I give it to her.

Jarred meats gross me out. We feed them to cats at work so I have always had an aversion to feeding them to my kids.
DD2 isn't close to eating meats yet, but with DD1 I just ripped it into bite sized pieces and put them on her tray. It took her a few exposures before she actually started to eat them.
I never fed LO jarred meat... but I made my own baby food. Don't think I would even make my own purreed meat. Just.. bleh!
I give LO little broken up pieces of meat and he eats them. Sometimes if it's really chewy (eg- a chewy porkchop) I won't feed it to him or will be more cautious with it. If we are eating something that isn't too great (eg- the crappy taco mix) I will cook some plain meat on the side and give that to LO
DS eats meat what ever way we are eating it. He eats shredded chicken, ground beef(crumbled up), pulled pork or beef from the slow cooker. Like PP, I don't give him anything too tough or chewy(like a pork chop).
