Not only that, but I don't get how she wins so many of those darn pageants. I mean, I think it's great that chubbier kids get their chance, but the girl is NOT cute or charming.
I'm debating whether or not I should wash my hair this morning. It's going on day 3, so it could use a wash, but it's raining outside and no one would notice if I just wore a hat.
I bought myself some nice new workout clothes on Wednesday. Thursday my husband lost his job. My husband asked me to return them so we get that money back, but I refuse. I feel I deserve the clothes for reaching my weight loss goals, and we can make sacrifices elsewhere.
I'm really bad about spending money. This week I've bought a bunch of stuff from Kohl's and from eBay. DH doesn't really know about the eBay stuff yet... But it was cheap, and I neeeeeeeded it!

And our car got broken into in front of our house earlier this week. So I feel all kinds of violated about that. They only stole a cellphone charger so I'm not really sure what the point of breaking into our car was.
Same thing happened to us last year. I'm glad they didn't really take anything from your car, but yeah, violated is exactly how I felt when it happened to us.
I've been super high strung lately and I've actually considered taking a ride on the Mary Jane train to calm the eff down. I won't because I'm never alone and I don't think it would be the same as it was when I was a teen but, the thought has creeped into my head. :::putting fire retardant suit on:::
Ah dang, I'm sorry ee. I hope he finds another one soon.
Honey Boo Boo is my guilty pleasure. That show is so hilarious and all at the same time.
Mine is food-related and therfore lame. But oh well.
I have been drinking Red Bull lately. I have 3-4 a week. They're the smallest cans, but I'm still feeling ashamed. My goal is to quit completely by the time I reach 3rd Tri.
Also, after gaining 14 pounds in 8 weeks, I'm embarassed to say I was elated to see the scale only move up 1 pound at my OB appointment on Wednesday.
LOL DH and I watch it and always get a laugh and WTF?!
Thanks, ladies. I appreciate the kind words. I am trying to keep my husband feeling positive because he is known to fall into a dark hole of depression if I am not there to support him. Fingers crossed he gets something soon.

I feel the same way Linds. It is a trainwreck and I can't help but watch. Oh and duff... when I saw that little snot segment on TV I laughed SO hard I cried and woke DH up. Not sure why I thought it was so funny but I couldn't help it. Nobody did anything to help that poor little girl!

That sucks. Fingers crossed here.
On a side note... did he ever figure out you were wearing a fake wedding ring?! LOL

DD kept me up all stinking night the night before last. Not sure why, didn't seem to be teeth, maybe she wasn't feeling well or maybe she was just being a pain.
Anyways I was miserable all day yesterday, I need a lot more sleep than I got to function and of course work was super crazy and demanding. When I picked up DD from my parents' house yesterday she was crabby and they said she was cranky most of the day. And being the stellar mom that I am... I thought "Good I am glad you had a crappy day too, keeping me up all damn night!"

I gave dd a marshmallow the other day so that I could get the boogers out of her nose.
That's great. I'll have to try a marshmallow next time. DS1 is finally old enough that he knows he just has to "suck it up" while I use the bulb syringe. DS2 fights like a crazy man to get away from me.

DH worked nights quite a bit this week, which meant that he slept a lot of the day and I went slightly crazy spending so much time with DS without a break.
So when bedtime came around this week, I pulled out the Hallmark storybook my MIL recorded for him and used that instead of reading to him.
It kind of made me sad that he enjoyed listening to that/looking at the pictures better than me reading to him at night. I read to him a ton during the day, but it would be nice if he found my reading voice as soothing as he seems to find MILs.
I think I have a little shopping problem. Every Friday dh and I get paid opposite weeks I go shopping granted most of the things I get are groceries but I always get a few extras mainly for DS which of course he doesn't necessarily need. Which reminds me I forgot to look at sport bras again damn it!

I'm still pissed that the Amazon Mom's 20% off sale didn't include jackshit I wanted for the new baby. I was going to splurge! Oh well, I guess I'll have to settle for the 10% completion code.

O hid the booger bulb. She HATES it. Last I saw it was several weeks ago. I'm sure I will find it in one of her hiding spots. She scavenges things and puts them in trash cans and boxes/bins.
I've had a couple of vodka tonics every night this week. It's a joint celebration about BF weaning and STTN that has simultaneously occurred in the past month. I'm loving not waking up at 4am for a night feeding!!!

I don't find this flameful. Unless you were planning on sharing it with Sophia Maybe you could get a prescription for Xanax or Clonopin? They're helpful for anxiety and are only taken when needed and don't make you feel all dopey.
I confess that DH and I CANNOT afford this weekend away at all. We couldn't afford it this morning and then when I went to get an oil change I realized the car was out of inspection and my tires were bald. I charged new tires and I'm still not cancelling our trip. Or feeling guilty about charging it all. We'll pay it off in February when we get our tax returns and our bonuses at work.
And eesome - so sorry for your husband's job. Hope he finds something soon!
Re: FFFC!
I don't get honey boo boo.

Ugh. That would creep me out to.
Thankfully, there was no damage to our car - because *someone* (side eyes DH) had left the doors unlocked.
LOL DH and I watch it and always get a laugh and WTF?!
Come on watch this...

Nope! And he has seen it up close many times. I am surprised. lol
