What are you all doing to help your babies learn to crawl? My LO doesn't seem too interested and just sits there on his tummy. Sometimes he pushes up with his arms, but nothing with his legs or knees yet.
We are just letting him go at his own pace. My nephew is a month and a half older than my son and it was amazing how quickly he went from being on his tummy to pushing up to crawling so we are in no hurry to push it. They will get there in time!
Nothing, they will figure it out when they are ready. DD was crawling at 6 1/2 months, my BFF's baby is a month older and is just starting to roll... It has no bearing on their capabilities down the road, some just crawl later than others, or not at all and go straight to walking. Her son didn't crawl until he was 9 months, but was walking by 12 months.
As much tummy time as she'll take. DD started crawling (inchworm style) recently after showing no interest. She'd already started walking while holding our hands, so I didn't know if she would ever crawl. But one day she saw her reflection in the glass of the DVD player case, and got so excited that she pulled herself closer. Now she's pretty adept at getting where she wants to go - although she'd still rather walk.
DD is nowhere near ready to crawl, and my DS didn't crawl untilhevwax 11 months...he was walking at 12 and running at 13! As PP's said, they'll just do it hen they're ready!
