Deleted post?

I posted earlier about my toddler blinking and it is gone. Did the bump delete it b/c I XPed on another board? Don't people do that all the time? Weird...

Re: Deleted post?

  • It is gone, but it wouldn't have just deleted.  You would have had to delete it.
  • Wasn't there an issue with random posts disappearing? I thought I remembered someone mentioning it on another board a couple of weeks ago.

That could explain it then. I really didn't think I'd accidentally deleted it.

  • Well, did you get any answers?  I hope so.
  • Yeah, I saw a few earlier, but there might have been more that I didn't get to see. I ended up calling the pedi and they kind of blew it off, basically said it's probably a transient tic. I, personally, am going with the assumption that she has dry or itchy eyes somehow related to the virus she's had this week (she had a fever the past two days and now has a rash on her face, legs, and arms today. Pedi said that's probably viral). She's just under the weather in general, so hopefully it'll go away in a day or so.

ETA: I did a little vision test  on her myself when she woke up from her nap today, just to give myself peace of mind that her vision wasn't being affected. I just stood on the other side of the room and held up fingers for her to imitate, and showed pictures in a book for her to id. Not very official, I know, but she did answer everything correctly. ;-)

  • I didn't see your original post, but if her eyes are feeling itchy and bothereing her, it could be due to being a little dehydrated since she is sick. I know it's hard to keep a large amount of fluids in LOs when they don't feel well. I hope she feels better soon.

LOL!  Glad you did the unofficial test!  (I would have too)

If she does have dry eyes, you can do saline drops.  It's no different than tear, so it should be fine.  I have to do them for DH during some allergy seasons or random illnesses.  If you get the individual/single use ones, then you also remove any worry about contamination.  GL!
