Thoughts on the name Phoebe

DH and I like classic uncommon names, and we don't know too many Phoebes.  My only issue with this name is that it may be misspelled (Pheobe), or she may be teased "Pho-be".  Would appreciate any thoughts. TIA.

    I like Phoebe, it's fun and spunky. I do think spelling may be an issue, but people will misspell anything, no matter how simple (My DD is Chloe, which is super popular and spelled correctly so you'd think people would know how to say/spell it, but they still mess it up.) I don't think Phoebe has any particular cause for teasing.

    I think Phoebe is really cute. You may have a problem with misspellings but, what name doesn't? It seems like people manage to get even the most simple names wrong. I wouldn't let the possible misspelling or the "Pho-be" thing stop you.

    I will always associate this name with the character Phoebe on the tv show Friends... but your daughter and her classmates will have no idea about that show.

    It will probably be misspelled occasionally, but it has been my experience that people can misspell any name, really. 

    If you're looking for similar style names, I think of Chloe and Zoe as having a similar feeling.

    Love Phoebe! You are spelling it correctly and if someone mis-spells the name it's easily corrected. I wouldn't worry too much.

    I think it's a great name and would have been on my list if DH hadn't vetoed it.

    Love it! Hip but classic name. It's getting popular here in S.F., but not at all toooo popular - I've just been noticing it. 
    ttc since 2/2010 ~
    me (36): Hypothyroid (on Levothroid), low vit. d, borderline/high fsh (day 3: between 7-10) (day 10: 13 during CCCT), AFC: 14
    dh (31): awesome (minus one sample with agglutination)
    Diagnosis:possible DOR and/or unexplained + elevated NK cells + MTHFR (C677T - one copy)

    MAY 2011 - FEB 2012 - 3 injectable IUI's with numerous cancellations due to high TSH levels
