We're still using the Snap & Go right now, but I'm starting to think about options for the future...
I plan to get a jogging stroller for occasional light jogging (I'm very slow!), walks around the neighborhood, walks at the greenway, outdoor events/festivals, etc.I'd also like to have a lightweight stroller, though, to be able to easily take in the car with us. (DH drives a Nissan Sentra - not a very large trunk!) I envision using it for the mall (which we go to rarely), vacations, daytrips, and whatever other odd situations that I'm forgetting about... but I doubt it'll be used very often. I plan to continue wearing LO a good bit (loving the Moby right now and have an Ergo for later), so I want to have the stroller as an option but don't want to invest much in it because I doubt it'll get much use. At the same time, though, I don't want to throw my money away on a cheap piece of junk.
Any recommendations? I'm looking for something a bit nicer than the $20 BRU cheapo umbrella stroller, but under $100 if possible. My SIL suggested the Combi Cosmo EX... it does look nice, but I'm wondering if there are any good options that are a bit cheaper? (I've read good things about the First Years Jet, but I haven't seen one in person.)
We're also going to be trying for 2u2, so I've considered spending a bit more to have something that would accommodate a second kid... but at the moment I'm thinking we may just stick with a single stroller for now and then get the double if/when we need it. Feel free to try to convince me that we should do otherwise, though!!
Re: Cheap, lightweight stroller.
I wouldn't recommend the FYJet stroller unless you for sure don't want a recline feature, which I recommend having a stroller that reclines fully.
I would recommend the Chicco Liteway though. If you use coupons at BRU you can get it right around $100. I got mine sometime in June/July and it was on sale and I used a coupon and it was under $100.
But it's very small and light. My husband keeps it in his car for mall trips. We also just took it to Hawaii. It was great on vacation. Perfect for folding quickly and traveling with. I do really like it. I think we spent around 70.
I have the Graco LiteRider stroller and I'm really happy with it. It was $80 at BRU. You can collapse it and open it with one hand and it fits really easily into my trunk (I have a small 4 door Corrolla).
