my pedi started the process to get our shots/approval. I called the insurance co and they told me that as long as they are submitted with approved diagnostic codes RSV is approved 100% and not subject to a deductible or limit. Is this possible? All I've heard is how impossible it is to get them approved and it sounds too good to be true. Has anyone had a good experience where they were just covered, no questions asked??
Our little hippo was as impatient as mom!
Hoping for a full 40 weeks!!
Re: s/o RSV and insurance... is this possible?
we didnt have any issues with DD last year because she came home from the NICU during rsv season and met the qualifications (DS received them in the hospital so it was covered).
this year we applied and we knew DS would qualify because he has BPD/CLD with a trach and requires some oxygen. We weren't sure about DD because she has been healthy, but we requested it since she could be a carrier to DS. We were shocked that they approved it for both of them with no issues.
