When should I call the doc after m/c? (TMI, sorry)

I was supposed to have a D&C for a missed miscarriage yesterday, but ended up canceling the appointment because the doc was running super late. Coincidentally, I started miscarrying on my own yesterday afternoon and things are moving very quickly this time around. I passed a large amount of tissue and what I believe was the sac this morning (sorry for the TMI).

I am still bleeding heavily, but when should I call the doc? Last time I needed a few rounds of bloodwork to see my levels down to 0, but I can't remember when they took the first draw. Should I wait until the bleeding slows down a bit or call them now to let them know what's happening?

    why don't you give them a call now and see what they advise?

    Ditto - I'd call right away and have a doctor paged if you need to. Better safe than sorry.

    Big (hugs) I'm so sorry you are going through this.

    I say call your doctor immediately. They might want to do an u/s to make sure that everything passed on it's own and they should definitely watch your levels back down to 0. When it comes to your health, be proactive because you can never be too safe.

    I'm so sorry for your loss. I would call them now and let them know what's going on. If you are in pain, they may want give you advice on what to do to help with the pain or may even tell you a certain medicine (or give you a prescription) to take. Hugs to you. My T & P are with YH and you during this time.

    I'm so sorry for your loss. I agree with PP. Better safe than sorry. I'd call your doctor, and if he wants to see you right away then you know you did the right thing. If he doesn't want to see you right away he can at least tell you when he wants to see you and you won't have to worry about it anymore.

    First, sending lots of hugs. I hate that this is happening to you. I agree with the other ladies, you should probably call your dr now and see what they want to do.

    I'm so sorry you're going through this! I agree with PPs, I would call my DR to let them know what's going on and let them advise you of what to do next. GL and big ((HUGS))!

    I hope you're taking it easy, and I'm sorry for everything you're going through.  I went through pretty heavy bleeding (I thought) but still ended up needing a D&C.  So you might want to call your doctor now, and make an appointment for a few days from now to have them check your blood levels and/or do an ultra sound to see if everything passed,
