Okay, like I said this is a really dumb question. In my 28 years of living, it was not until sometime this year when I caught on to people using the term "momma". Brillant, I know. I always thought there was just Mama.
Anyways - my question being... What is the difference, is there one?
K, thanks!
Re: REALLY dumb question: Mama vs Momma
It's Mama.
ETA: There is a difference in definition if you look them up, but they both reference mother.
Mama- You are one HOT mama!
Momma- I love you, Momma.
That's how I was raised, anyway.
yep! That's the difference I know too.
Haha... okay! I got it!
I am apparently out of the loop on the mom lingo!
I would never use, or take seriously, momma. It looks completely made up to me, even if it isn't. It's mama only and all the way.
