I think I am the same. DH and and are pretty laid back and so is DD.
Pregnant with Letrazole (Femara) on the first cycle with DD after TTC 2+ years TTC#2 with Letrazole (Femara) since January 2012 BFP 06.29.12 EDD 03.11.13 natural m/c 07.13.12 BFP 09.22.12 EDD 05.31.13 natural m/c 10.07.12 CP 11.09.12 BFP 01.01.13 EDD 09.15.13 d&c 01.24.13
I know I'm more laid back than when he was born....He does get into trouble but for the most part the parts of the house he can get to are baby proofed so he can wander where he wants and I am not too worried if I can't see him for a few minutes. Our house is pretty small so I can hear what he's getting into.
But other people are more uptight about him than I am....it's weird...my SIL lives with us and she has a 5 year old of her own....she is always so worried about my LO getting into stuff.....like if he grabs something she is so worried about it....I would have thought she wouldn't care since she has her own kid. And when she watches my LO she always has to give him a bath....I don't care if he misses two days or even three....he doesn't get that dirty yet.
I was super laid back when she was a newborn, and still am. I nannied for a long time, and was a teacher, so not much phases me. Compared to other moms, I'd say I'm more easy going, but not when it comes to behavior/discipline.
Nah. I've been pretty laid back all along. Part it's just who I am, part I have years of kid experience and part I have an easy kid so she doesn't stress me out a lot.
Compared to other Moms, well, I'm more laid back than 3/4s of the internet. The moms I hang out and seek advice from the most are about the same. I also know my share of moms ALOT less laidback than me.

I think this would define my style.....the behavior is where I am super not laid back. For example, my ILS think it's okay to burp and then laugh (this back in june) so DD started faking a burp and then laughing..shortly after that I started including a chest pat after each burp (as an excuse me) and she does great with that. I feel strongly about practicing good examples ESPECIALLY in front of her..she is picking up on EVERYTHING.
Re: are you a laid-back mom?
probably more laid back now.
maybe not as laid back and most other moms though
