Please Help! Sleeping Temp Question!

Ok after reading some people's posts I am getting paranoid about my baby's temp at night. And since delivery my sensitivity in my hands is low so I can't feel his head for a good temp check...and my husband says he feels fine but I am still worried. We have the house set at 72F and I put him in a onesie, footed sleeper and a fleece Halo sleepsack swaddled with his arms free. Do you think this is too much? Do you think the temp is too high? What temp and clothes does your LO sleep with? Thank you so much! This really has me worried!!!

We keep our house at 75... baby sleeps in a light onesie, a cotton halo sleepsack, and sometimes a blanket on his legs... temps been just fine.  When we turn the furnace/ac off, and crack a window for fresh air at night, it gets cooler so we'll use a fleece halo instead.

Lately it has likely been cooler than 72 at night and we have her in usually a onesie and a cotton sleepsack swaddle or else a footed sleeper. Sometimes she gets hot, but her core never gets cold. sometimes her hands and feet do, but that's it.

I don't know how warm our house is at night, because we don't have the heat on yet. I would say it's staying about 68-70. We also have a ceiling fan on high all night. DS wears either a footed pj with a fleece swaddle sleepsack or a onesie with the sleepsack. I feel he gets too warm with the fleece sometimes, so I will unswaddle him in the middle of the night if he needs it.

I think with the onesie, pjs, and sleepsack he might get too warm, but that's just my thought.

Same here. My little guy is a furnace, so he would be burning up in that many clothes. Tonight he actually just has his diaper and halo swaddle sleep sack on.

It's about 65 in the nursery right now. DS is in a fleece sleeper with a light blanket around his bottom half. Ceiling fan is on too.
Rule of thumb is one more layer than what you would wear.

Our house is at 72. We just put him in the sleep sack with diaper and cover with a blanket.
