Okay, so I don't think I'm quite sure what it means to "test out your trigger." Does that mean to test for a couple of days and see if it goes from postive to negative or vice versa? This is my first month doing a trigger shot, so I'm confused. Do you think that if I test next Thursday, the trigger hormones might still show up + on a hpt?

I did actually see your other post. I clicked at the top to "Watch this Thread". It sends me an email every time some one responds, especially during the week when this board gets really busy.
Ok, testing out the trigger. I've told you that mine was still in me enough to show a positive HPT 23 days later last cycle. That was my first experience with a trigger shot too. And my RE said they are usually out within 7-10 days, but to wait 14 just in case. That's usually the concensise when the question is posed on here too. The nurses only explanation of this is that something might have started to happen to cause my HcG to rise, but then it ended.
Next Tuesday is 10 days past my trigger. Whether I'm actually pregnant or not it should show up negative IF the trigger shot is out of me. The HcG is the same horomone that rises when you are actually pregnant, that's how I got 3 false positives. If it's negative already on that day, I'll know it's totally out of me and a couple weeks from now if I'm blessed enough to get a BFP I'll know it's FOR REAL! If it's positive 10 days past my trigger, then I'll just keep testing every morning with the cheap $ store tests until it is all out of me...and it shows up negative.
Does that make any sense? Next Thursday might be a bit early to test for real. That's only CD27 and if you normally don't start until 31 or 32 then it might show negative when it's really positive. It's up to you if you want to "test out the trigger" like me or not. After my last cycle experience, I think I really should.
