11 week appt questions...

Any of you veterans have some good questions to ask the doc? I pretty much got all my basic questions out a t the first appt and im just curious what you ladies may have asked? I covered the whole csection policy and the what to eat what meds to take etc. Just wondering...I feel silly not having more questions for her than I do lol

I'm not a vet but I have my 11 week appointment tomorrow and I wrote down the usual questions. I also had questions about dh's family history of lung diseases and how/if they'll effect baby. So I would consider questions baised on your partners family medical history.

By the time I got to 11/12 weeks last time, I had already had a couple appointments (with my RE and my OB), so I had already asked the basics.  I clarified any questions I had on food and meds, and how my prescriptions would affect baby.  I also asked about family history, my medical issues, etc and how they would affect baby during the pregnancy and afterwards (I'm hypothryoid, so I had a lot of questions about that with the first pregnancy).  I also asked about normal weight gain, what I should call about, etc.

After that first appointment, anytime I would "wonder"/question something that wasn't urgent, I would write it down (or type it in my notes app on my phone), so I had a small (or sometimes large) list for the next appointment.  A fair amount had to do with how I was feeling, growing, etc. and whether or not I was gaining enough weight (I had a hard time gaining weight at first with my first pregnancy, although I made up for it in the end). 

I probably don't have as many of those same types of questions this time around, although I do have questions about the complications I had last time and how to avoid them this time.
